"Our stay here was lovely. The place was very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful (and the hairdryer in the room was better than my one at home). The cut through made it a really easy walk to the shops, bars & restaurants and station and there was a shuttle available too. "We just got done 5 nights at Hotel Mary. First the property cleanliness and view from our Oceanview room were spectacular. The staff all were helpful and try to go above & beyond to give an outstanding experience- it was very appreciated. The morning breakfast buffet every day is nice and has a good variety. We are ate at the restaurant a few times but found the menu a bit limited and pretentious in our opinion. We did eat at the pool bar for lunch as we were swimming anyways and that worked out well for us. We found ourselves walking into town for dinner (and sometimes lunch & dessert) it’s a shame we didn’t feel we could enjoy the hotel menu more because the view is extraordinary. The staff at the pool is great from pool towels to drinks for everyone right to your chairs. Anyways service is top notch just some little complaints about the restaurant and they tried to check us out a day early as they had made an error with our reservation but other than that everything was great.I’d stay here again and recommend it to friends for sure. Vico Equense is so beautiful and such a quaint region! You won’t regret a visit here!"

"Very uncomfortable beds. Housekeeping opened the doors to the garden one day and we came back to an unlocked room with our valuables inside. We had an issue with the bedside outlets not working (which was needed for a medical device) and the front desk said they would send someone to fix it and no one ever came to address it during our four night stay. Drain pipes smelled foul in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, and the rooftop bar is worth an afternoon visit. In summary, I would go back to have drinks at the rooftop, but the hotel is not worth the money. There are better places to stay at in Sorrento."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The deluxe room was spacious and we loved the balcony view. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the pool as we spent quite a bit of time at the space. The food was also delightful and rooms were kept clean. The location was stunning an offered a relaxing time between travels. I recommend researching the shuttle times to plan your day trips, taxis are very expensive. Transit does run frequently out front of the hotel and is 10 min from the train station. Traffic is quite busy along the road out front and can be quite loud while you sleep, a set of eat plugs solved this problem and was worth the un matched views provided. This is a nice alternative to a very busy and difficult Amalfi coast travel . We would be very happy to return to this space."
