"This was a surprise. I just needed a late night check-in coming in from the airport. Easy to find. Greeted upon arrival. Comfortable but firm bed. Nice bathroom. Good WiFi. Way above average breakfast with nice touches: freshly squeezed juice, fresh assorted fruit. Wonderful staff and it was quiet - however, when people were up and about I could hear everything but there were no disturbances during the night and I am the lightest sleeper on the planet. "This was quite a find - with such an interesting name, I just had to book a night there. It really is a jewel, it seems very new. We arrived early and had a splendid greeting. In view of our disability and difficulty walking, we were changed to a ground floor room which was spacious and seriously cool in the current heatwave. It feels like a farm with all the lovely hens and chicks around. Breakfast was ample and tasty. "

"Hotel Maja was a great place to stay. It's right on the coastal road with the beach across the street. Service and hospitality were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent with the downtown area of Pescara is very walkable. Pescara downtown is a happening place with many restaurants and bars open late into the evening. The breakfast was great also."

"Short walk to a sandy beach, fortified by breakfast and cappuccino each morning. Proprietors gave us a bottle of wine as a gift for staying so Kate in the season. Perfect weather even in September. Only quibble was a mildewed shower curtain, probably in need of replacement after a long season."

"This property used to be at a top level. The service, food and cleanliness are still good but not at a 4 star level and certainly not for the price they are wanting. The rooms are very dated and back to a time ( maybe some of you can remember) when expensive hotels bought the early LCD TVs and they were 13” but that was amazing back in the mid 1990’s. those TVs have not been updated and since. Nor the Channel lists to include English. All in all, great service and beach access is the only thing to write about here. "
