At night we went to the Blue Ice Restaurant just down the rod within walking distance. The fish presented to us at table side and service was like a 5 star restaurant.”

When we arrived we were not shown to our room, and were told it was on a different road we took ages to find it, and were given conflicting information by different staff members as to where to go. “The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The village is very peaceful and quiet at night being about 20 minutes walk from the noisy and traffic congested sea front, so coming back after an evening out we appreciated our quiet site. “The location was perfect for what we wanted to do - i.e. see Mt. Etna and visit Taormina. The grounds are landscaped beautifully as the pictures show and the cabin is as small as the pictures suggest. As long as you can use the front deck, as we did, you don't feel too cramped. The 'buffet' breakfast must be something lost in translation. There was a jar of cookies and a basket of packaged pastries but that was it. Beware the kitchen is very small and almost impossible to cook in. The only pot……
