Nice relaxing ,Posted Aug 31, 2015
It's relaxing experience, hotel need to change the drinking glass, and cups and plates, it's very old fashioned and very old, doesn't feel like vacation when you eat and drink from those old out dated cups and plates

Nothing good to say.Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: The older gentleman that played the piano
Location: Negril beach was nice. But way to pushy people with their hands out for tips.
My husband and I have been to many all inclusive resorts and this has got to be the worst one we have ever stayed at. Our balcony overlooked an ugly tin metal roof. We don't spend much time in room but would have been nice to see something other than metal. No coffeemaker in room. no hairdryer, and no refrigerator. My son and his families toilet was clogged at least 3 times. The food was absolutely horrible. The grounds had plates ,drinking glasses and cigarette butts everywhere. The resort said 3 private beaches. What a joke!!! They were about the size of a football field. Garbage in the water. There was a pirate ship in the kids pool that was never open for the kids to go on. We will never stay at this resort again!!!! Or recommend it to anyone that asks. After spending about 10,000.00 for our families to go it was so disappointing

The third time not a charmPosted Aug 27, 2015
This is my third trip to sunset beach resort. The first two times amazing. After this trip I will not be staying there again. On the first night the toilet couldn't flush and a maintenance person came look at it then left. It kept running had to call again. My room key wasn't working almost my entire stay. The food in the banana restaurant was cold everyday and they served the same thing. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I felt like I was asking for a favor. You would finish eating and your plate stayed on your table without being picked up. I was on the forth floor and they decide to do renovations/painting without informing the guest and I'm asthmatic. After trying several times to get to my floor by elevator and the bottom for my floor wouldn't work we decide to use the steps. I saw a housing keeper who was kind enough to stop and ask why we were using the stairs after I explained he informed me that due to maintenance on the forth and fifth floor the elevator was taken out of service and no one should be on those floor. He ask if the front desk called and ask me to changed my room. Then I decide to go and ask for a room changed. After packing the bell hop arrived I called the front desk and she said the new room isn't ready I need to wait. We decided to go to the beach after lunch I went to see if the room was ready. The front desk agent who is a different individual ask me why didn't we just go straight to the new room since it was ready before we moved.

Good hotel!Posted Aug 26, 2015
Stayed here a few times. Hotel rooms have been updated and improved. Still working on the B tower, but the rooms were much nicer than the last time we stayed there back in 2013. As usual, the food was excellent. Rooms are close to the beach and the pools.

Not Worth The MoneyPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: The food was very repetitious. The plumbing did not work and there is nothing to do at night
Cons: Make the food more appealing. Fix the plumbing and make sure the DJ stays on the premises at night for those who like to listen to music and dance at
Eight family members and I visit this hotel July 11-18. Checking in was easy and we were greeted with drinks. The rooms were quite comfortable but our problems were with the plumbing. Two of the three rooms toiled flooded on the first day. We were moved the next day to tow new rooms on different floors and the same thing happened again. The manager then informed me that the hotel was being renovated that’s why we were experiencing plumbing issues. I then requested some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and was told that the hotel does not issue credits. The food was very repetitious so but the fourth day there was no desire to go the to the buffet and we had to argue to be allowed to go to one of the other restaurants on sight as each quest is only allow three reservation per visit but we had three rooms this did not matter to them. My sister, niece and daughter-in law got diarrhea from the food. The drinks were good though. Also, there is nothing to do at night. There is a club which would be nice if the Dj stay on sight but each night he would have a play list going and then left the property and the same music would keep going all night. My family and I have being doing a trip to Jamaica for the past 15years and I will not be returning to Sunset Beach & Spa.

Nice hotel, close to beach and enough poolsPosted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: Ppaint work in the room needs updating. Food choice in the buffet area to be more varied and to include more Jamaican delicacies. No use canned calalo
Location: Didn't do anything outside the hotel
'Twas a lovely 1 week. Friendly staff, enough water facilities, including beach and enough pools and the shade of almond trees for those who don't like too much direct sunlight. All except 1 staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating. The gentleman who was responsibile for chopping the jelly coconuts was a let down for the hotel and Jamaica in general. He was abrupt, non accommodating and his body odour spoilt the atmosphere of the gala evening.

Friendly staff and really good facilitiesPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Staff and facilities
Cons: Rooms could do with some refreshing
Location: It's all inclusive but there are also trips out daily to see some other attractions
If you spend a week here like we did, you get a chance to experience everything! There's enough for people with different likes and tastes to do. The children are taken care of if you want them to, so that you can have a really relaxed and chilled time. The entertainment coordinators Marshalee, Shanice, Kenijah and Dominic were so energetic and super friendly. Romm service staff were quite efficient too.
