Le Petit Hotel was a charming place to stay in the heart of Old Montreal. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the location and ease of getting around Old Montreal and beyond. Morning breakfast was a real perk! We'll be back!

The hotel is very pretty and had a great location. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and generally comfortable. The breakfast was fine - good coffee, ok food (but fine enough for a free continental breakfast). Our biggest complaints were that one side of the bed had a big valley in it, so sleeping was not great for one of us. Additionally, our toilet did not flush successfully without 3-6 flushes and got fully stuck several times (totally tolerable for a night or two, but we were there for a week, so it was rather frustrating). We reported this early on and were told it would be serviced. When there was no follow up and the issue was still not resolved, we asked again at the desk and were just told with a shrug that it’s an old building. That was probably the most frustrating part because there was a bathroom in the lobby that worked perfectly fine, so the response rather felt like gaslighting. Otherwise, fine hotel.

The shared spaces and rooms are indeed petits but it did not take away from the experience as the customer service was some of the best we’ve had at hotels (and we’ve stayed at many), and the location was perfection! Thank you for everything!

Very friendly, attentive staff. We were in Montreal during a heat wave and the AC system kept our room cool. It is an older system and made a lot of noise as it cycled on and off. This made a good night sleep a little challenging. The generous complementary breakfast and espresso drinks were a great starter during our stay,

Le Petit Hotel was our most favorite hotel we have ever stayed at. The location is unbeatable, the staff so accommodating, breakfast daily was delicious, and our room was as comfortable as home. If you're coming to Montreal for leisure, this is the best place to stay.

Le Petit Hotel is a gem in old Montreal. Comfortable beds, safe in the room and large bathroom with plenty of counter space are some of the room features. The water pressure was excellent in the shower which is always welcomed after a day of touring the city. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Breakfast and an assortment of coffee choices are a nice touch. The city is at the door step for you to enjoy. It was a 5 star experience for us. We will definitely go back.
