Kayaks were fun. My only suggestion to owner/property manager is PLEASE remove the invasive vines covering the trees before it kills them. “Stayed in Salem right outside of Ranoke for the USA finals National Mnt Biking races for 2025. Location was quiet, clean, modern, nice small cottage set up for family of 4. Good sized front yard area for yard games. Beautiful rose bushes on side of house that had lots of birds and bees visit. Close enough to hiking or biking trails near by via short drive and just far enough away from city to have a quite outside of Ranoke city area.It was too hot for us to use the bonfire but did enjoy the...

“Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay.”

“Cute as a button. Traveled with our 3 adult ish kids and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this beautiful area of Virginia. Suzanne is a wonderful host who has thought of every detail in the space. The horses in the back pasture are perfect view for starting and ending the day.”
