“Betty’s Boutique is a lovely building with quirky rooms and several communal areas to sit, including two bars and a lovely garden. We stayed in the Spa room which was nicely decorated and comfortable with a big bath & separate shower. The room had all the necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. Marcia gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. We decided after a long drive to stay in for dinner and had the lasagna & garlic bread which was delicious. "There is a new trend in hotel design worldwide which this hotel follows and it needs to stop. Not having proper walls and doors in bathrooms within the room. There is no privacy since the walls are now made of cristal so all the bedroom is illuminated by the bathroom, and the doors don't shot so noise and smell flow into the bedroom effortlessly. There is no way of going into the bathroom and not waking up other people in the room. It's a nightmare when traveling with friends and work colleagues!"
