“Fresh home cooked breakfast. Amazing welcome and friendly staff. Lucia and Luca were very attentive. Large suite with a patio. 2 minutes walk to the station and they have parking on site. Lots of eating options in the town. We will definitely stay again next time visiting the Lakes. ”

“A beautiful and quiet villa nestled at the edge of Mandello de Lario. We stayed in a suite, away from the main villa, with a private garden and a lake view. We also had a pontoon and small beach outside our suite allowing us to swim undisturbed in Lake Como, We loved how secluded and quiet the resort felt, as if it were own. Breakfast in the private garden each morning was a must, again making you feel like it was your own holiday home. All amenities were in excellent condition and……

“The room was a disaster; worn down bed, bathroom dirty, mold in the shower, etc … The girl at the reception was friendly and took the time to explain the neighborhood. But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s). Try to avoid this place if possible.”

“We had a fantastic stay here. Breakfast service to our room was amazing. Getting to sit outside in the morning with delicious food taking in the views were a highlight. Giuliano, the driver who shuttled us into Bellagio, was also fantastic. Would highly recommend!”

“The location is beautiful and quiet. It is next to restaurant that the hosts own (they will treat like family. I had one of my best restaurant experiences there) and was never disturbed with noise. The hosts were amazing, available at all times, and very helpful. Walking distance to the lake with great views. ”

“Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days.”
