Mom and son Arkansas vaca

Each year my son and I pick places in Arkansas to travel to for his birthday. It's been a tradition since he was 10. He just turned 17 and every year we come back and have the best time and only stay in VRBO this cabin was so nice And clean, it was everything they advertised and made our stay so wonderful.

Great little cabin!

We loved the simplicity of this small cabin. The closeness to Mountain View square and the White River! It was quiet and cozy! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property but had trouble finding it because I didn’t realize it was called Dream Catcher. Also, GPS didn’t work going up mountain and I lost my online map so wasn’t really sure which road to take. Road is steep and a little rough getting up. I drive 4 wheel drive truck - no problem. Wouldn’t take my Honda H-RV up there. Afraid it would scrape bottom. House was very well appointed with everything one needed. Beds were comfortable. AC and fans worked great. Wonderful huge jetted tub in bathroom. Unfortunately, found jets didn’t work after I was sitting in glorious hot tub of water. This is a perfect location if you want a place in the woods. There is no mountain or river view from cabin. Not a problem for us. If you want views other than woods - don’t rent here. I’d definitely rent here again. I gave lower marks for communication because I tried calling number listed x3 and never got anyone. Also texted but never heard back. I couldn’t find checkout requirements - and tried diligently to find out expectations other than put trash in hefty type bag. Wasn’t sure where trash bin was located but eventually found it at end of the drive. I hope we met all requirements for checking out - we left cottage in as good condition as we found it!

Don’t believe internet pictures

Was not the property that was shown on the internet. Was listed as 2 bed 2 bath and only had one bath.Shower head was missing. Outside furniture was nasty. Microwave door handle was broken and pillows were flat. Furniture was nasty and not clean at all

Private Getaway

The only problem was the parking. We had two big PUs and it was tricky getting them parked and out of the way of any traffic trying to get back to the other cabin.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We loved the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. We enjoyed waking up to a nearby rooster crowing. There’s not much in the way of a yard, but who needs a yard when you have the Sylamore Trail and Creek so close by?

Nice place

Very nice cabin, comfortable beds. Rooms are small so need some creativity on where to stash belongings. Only negative was that we couldn’t find any dishwashing liquid so had to go out and get some.

Overall it was a nice place, the porch area was relaxing, fireplace gave a nice ambiance ,Wi-Fi worked great, my wife enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, Was a great place to relax in between running around the town

There was debris on the floor when we arrived. The bath mats didn’t look clean. There was not supposed to be Wi-Fi which we wanted. But, there was and no way to turn it off. Cleaning supplies were not there. Garbage bags were not there.

Best trip ever!

Came for bday/ anniversary trip! Rode the Harley! This cabin was the absolute best! Couldn’t ask for more!! Love the back porch! Watched deer the morning we left! The tub is fabulous! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful and Quiet Area

The most enjoyable thing we did at the cabin was sit on the porch and listen to the rain. It's a great spot for peace and quiet. We especially enjoyed thoughtful details like bathrobes provided in the bathroom and the cozy quilts. Parking was adequate for two vehicles and we believe three could park there if none were very large (e.g. extended-cab pickups). We aren't really TV watchers and never turned it on, but if you are, be aware it's a small screen and situated in a corner and two of the chairs are situated with their backs to it. Also, as the listing mentions, the property does not have WiFi. Cellular service is also spotty to non-existent, or was for us on AT&T, so don't rely on cellular data for backup or count on being able to make phone calls.

Quaint Secluded Cabin

This cabin is located just outside of Mountain View only a 5 min drive. It is somewhat secluded with plenty of privacy. The two bedrooms each with a queen size bed are small, but worked for me, however, only one of the bedrooms had a closet for our use. The other bedroom had a closet, but was used for supplies and was therefore locked. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The wraparound deck was a plus. The TV worked great however, it was quite small. We could not get the fireplace to work but luckily it wasn’t too cool that we needed it during the day. But it would’ve been nice to have in the evening. The bathroom was a nice size with two plush robes and plenty of towels. The bathtub was a little tricky as it was easy to slip on the tub basin while taking a shower because it was meant to be a whirlpool tub. We never used the tub, so I’m not sure if it worked. But again I would use care if you were strictly going to use it as a shower. There’s plenty of parking for two cars. The driveway is not paved so a lower profile car might have issues if it’s been raining. But in order to have some seclusion, it was well worth it. The host was wonderful and answered all my questions. I love my stay there and will definitely book this cabin again in the future if I’m ever in the area.

Rough entrance and exit, small parking area, I question elder suitable because of having to go down a gravel incline to reach the entrance. More hand rails would have been more helpful around commode and shower. Maybe it was just me but I could not get electric fireplace to start. However, it was a quaint and comfortable place to spend a couple of days.
