"This was the best VRBO experience I have had and it was so much due to the excellent hosts, Didier and Florence. We had been to Saignon a few times but never lived in the village. La Petite Fontaine was perfect for the three of us (my husband and my sister). Every detail for comfort and enjoyment was there for us. We had respect for privacy from out hosts, but when we needed help they were there for us. I am so happy that we got the opportunity to meet these wonderful people and live in their beautifully restored village home."

"We can't say enough good things about our holiday in this house. The house itself is lovely, comfortable, with plenty of space and in different permutations for all 11 of us, including our children, grandchildren and brother-in-law. Between the main house, and the little cabanon behind the pool, everyone had appropriate room and bathrooms. The glory of the property is the beautiful shaded outdoor dining/living area easily accessible from both floors of the house and overlooking the pool. We spent most of our time there underneath the shade trees, which were lit by strings of patio lights in the evening - eating, chatting on the couches, keeping an eye on people in the pool just through the fence. The pool itself was wonderful - heated, with a heated outdoor shower (!), well maintained by a friendly person who came 3 times while we were there to check on the PH, and clean out leaves. As if that weren't enough, there's a petanque court in the front garden - we spent a fair bit of time there competing, chatting, laughing. Also a portable badminton net, which we moved around to stay in the shade. A fabulous view of Saignon from many angles, and an easy drive to get there for breakfast at Chez Christine, dinner at Le Jardin sur le Toit, and many other delights. Fun to spend time at the Apt market. Friendly people on hand to show us around and hand over the keys to at the end. A memorable holiday. Thank you so much!"

"My wife and I recently stayed at this charming property and it was a delightful experience. The design of the property is very appealing. It was nice having stairs leading down from the main bedroom to the terrace for our coffee in the mornings. The traditional tile flooring and exposed beams add to the charm and character of the house. The kitchen is well-equipped—everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the terrace and in the lovely garden, surrounded by beautiful plants and vibrant colours—so peaceful and relaxing. The house stays cool even during the scorching heat—after a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings, it was a relief to step into a refreshingly cool space. In the house there is lots of useful information about the area. Saignon itself is a special village—full of picturesque charm and a friendly atmosphere. There’s a bakery and several places to eat. Its proximity to other pretty villages and beautiful scenery makes it a great base for exploration. Take a drive through the Monts de Vaucluse—the landscape is quite spectacular! The local markets are also fun, with their stalls filled with fresh produce, crafts and local delicacies. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Odile and Emmanuel for being such gracious and welcoming hosts, we felt like valued guests throughout. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful and authentic getaway in the heart of Provence"
