OK place to stay. Staff was often not at the front desk but you had to call them forward - it took a few minutes

There was no tissue paper in the room, the shampoo and conditioner were insufficient, and there weren't enough bath towels for the number of guests. Well, I suppose you get what you pay for.

It was disappointing that there weren't enough towels provided. Also, the water in the bathroom and washroom didn't shut off completely, and there was a slight musty, moldy smell. I think it should be fixed, as the leaking water is wasteful and causes that unpleasant odor.

The place smelt like urine, the bathroom fixtures where all junky and dirty looking. I dont mind cheap hotels when I travel for work, but I would not return, regardless of the low price.

People should be aware when there are residents at hotels. This one appears to be a halfway house with a sign posted that there are no alcohol allowed on the property among other things that will get this posting taken down if I mention. Check how much this place gets to house the unhoused while you pay $160 a night. And are those residential smoke alarms? Ours was unhooked and placed in the drawer when we arrived.

I should have looked at reviews before booking this place, when I walked in to the room I was hit in the face with a super strong glade smell. It was overwhelming so I unplugged the glade plug in and opened the window, only to find out that they were trying to cover up the smell of dog piss.

Just a quick place to sleep however, the TV did not work in my room. No one came to fix it. The lights didn’t work on one side of the room probably was just a fuse. Had somebody gone and looked but the lady working the desk was kind of rude and told me that somebody would look at it the next day well the next day I’m not staying there anymore and I don’t really care. I care right now. The only good thing that worked was the air conditioner.

This place was disgusting! I should have known something was amiss when the total price was $180 for two nights. The lobby smelled horrible, the room was bleh, the shower had flaking paint, stains everywhere, the towels were stained! You can honestly spare a couple extra dollars and literally go ANYWHERE ELSE and get a better night stay. Oh and there is no security, I hear someone screaming for help so god knows what was happening with that. Oh, and if you like the sound of smoke detectors beeping constantly, then this is the place for you. I literally only stayed here because I didn't have the proper camping equipment to stay with my friends at their campsite. Honestly sleeping in a barn would have been better than sleeping here, but at least the bed wasn't horrible, as far as hotel beds are concerned, it wasn't bad and that is literally the only good thing I can say about the Dung Heap.

For a low price its a nice hotel but between the brown stains on the sheets, broken lamps, tiny tv and broken faucet in the tub its better to go somewhere else. If your looking for a right budget stay then come here

Great Location

Very convenient location while visiting Michigan Adventure. The front desk lady was very friendly and caring. Walking distance to Mcdonald and the gas station. Right off the highway, which was nice too. Definitely a quiet location with friendly staff.
