The staff members was great with customer service. We only stayed for one night with 4 rooms to celebrate my Auntie’s 60th birthday and the hotel room was perfect for her. The exterior of the hotel throw me off a bit with bugs greeting u, pigeons poop outside the doors of your room, and worn down carpet but when I enter the room. I was very pleased with choosing this hotel as our stay. The room was a very nice size and had everything I needed to help her celebrate her day. Thank y’all.

The property itself is a bit dated and run down. But the room was clean. It was a good size and had a lovely view. All pools had murky water. But we swam anyway. Pools were often out of towels. Staff was very friendly Other guests were on their balconies steaming at people on the beach until 1am, or shining spot lights on the beach or shining a green laser on the beach. Lots of indoor and outdoor water options for kids. Wish there was a smooth path between buildings that wasn’t hot to walk barefoot between the 2 water parks Had a very unsafe experience on the beach. Many families with children sitting on the beach watching fireworks in distance. A group of guys started setting off large professional style fireworks about 20 ft away. The hot embers were shooting into the crowd and hitting people. Children were screaming and crying they were so afraid. Many families had to leave the beach. The same guys wouldn’t listen to the pleas of people to stop and it started a fight. Very very unsafe. It really ruined the night. Would be nice if the hotel could send security out there to protect guests. According to county policy fireworks are illegal on the beach. We did kill 2 roaches in our room. That was gross Washer and dryer are very tiny. Doesn’t hold much. Was able to dry swimsuits though so that was good. They have a smell to them so take dryer sheets. The washer will stop running if the knob isn’t pulled out but the knob won’t stay out on its own Tub backed up

Checkin was rough, had to wait 45 mins past 4 pm to get room. Breakfast is ok, not that great. Rooms were clean, room service was good. parking across the street but convenient. Pools well maintained. Overall good and would recommend to anyone traveling with kids.

If you have a family, Dunes Village is a great beachfront with other amenities. The parking is excellent and the place is comfortable. It's also close to a lot of attractions. I do very much recommend staying here with children. My only negative comment would be the remodeling they did in the rooms was not done well. The flooring was cheap and cracked in some areas. That is a pretty minor detail in how overall nice the property is. We would probably stay here again on our next trip to North Myrtle Beach.

To start our room was disgusting. Had to have housekeeping come to clean the fridge and there was baked food on the dishes. Had to have maintenance come to replace an outlet because you plug something in and it just falls out. Trash for days laying in the halls, around the property. Just needs a good deep cleaning and upkeep. The positives are at least the view is pretty. Would not stay again
