We arrive late due to weather. We didn’t get to enjoy the amenities such as the outdoor pools/water park because we got the room through a 3rd party. The ceiling leaked, only one elevator was fully operational, and there wasn’t any housekeeping during the weekends. The staff wasn’t any better. Won’t be booking with them again

Property is in need of updating and regular repairs/maintenance everywhere you looked. Rooms were way smaller than they were made to appear in online photos. No room service and front desk staff for all four days were all unpleasant.

Indoor pool/hot tub smelled horrible. When we got out of the hot tub, we smelled of feces, GROSS. This was the least of our worries, however. The night before we checked out, new people checked in right below us. The smell of weed from their room came into ours from the balcony. They blasted music until almost midnight. Front desk couldn’t give a crap. “Quiet hours, blah blah blah…” there are other guests with children trying to sleep but ok. We had a nice little wake up call at 5AM from the same dirtbags downstairs, loud music and the smell of weed. My daughter and I decided to leave at 5:30, and make the drive home, as we didn’t want to deal with it anymore. When we asked the night before if we checked out, could we get a refund for the night. We were told no. I paid almost $800 for two nights, to be sadly disappointed. We normally stay at Beach Colony but I booked too late and unfortunately, there were no rooms left. I will NEVER spend my hard earned money at sand dunes again.

Our room could have used some updating. Had new wood laminate floor which is great idea for beach hotel but bathroom counter chipped multiple places. The bed was comfortable. Biggest complaint? Bar band was really loud. We were on second floor oceanfront and above outside restaurant tables. Asked staff when band would stop. Said 10 PM. Asked staff for another room. Said there were none. I checked online and there were rooms available! He lied. Won't go back.

This place was beautiful, right on the beach. Very family friendly. Lots of pools and lazy rivers, water fun park, black light mini golf and arcade. Not to mention multiple restaurants onsite.
