Not up to Days Inn standards

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Pros: Close to SFASU
Cons: New carpets, paint, mattresses, toilet seats
Location: Near SFASU
The room was dated and in need of repair. The room had an odd smell. The headboards were worn and the mattresses were lumpy. The carpet needed cleaning. The toilet was dirty around the mounting screw and the seat was stained and worn. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, and mold in the corners of shower stall. At 8:30 pm, it sounded like a gym class was being held in the room above me. When I complained to the clerk she showed no concern. I had to ask her to do something about it before she said that she would call them. I was VERY disappointed in this motel. I will never stay there again.

Standard 2 star hotel.

Posted Feb 22, 2017
This hotel was in line with other Days Inn that I've stayed at. Room was clean, the facility was in good condition and it was quiet. The heater didn't work in our room and when I mentioned it to the front desk they fixed it right away. The breakfast isn't bad for 'free', but if you want a big breakfast you'll probably want to go elsewhere. I've stayed at this motel 3 times and I would stay there again.

Good people, good location, aging facility. Non-smoking room had a lot of stale smoke in it.

Lumpy mattresses

Posted Nov 20, 2016
The mattress was lumpy and had a dip in it forcing me to sleep in only one spot. I was a bit sore afterwards. It was not good on my back. The room was as expected for this level of hotel. It was clean. The staff was nice enough. We did not eat the breakfast.

Close to Campus but Not High Quality

Posted Oct 30, 2016 on Hotels
The bed was large but not very soft and comfortable. The bathroom walls were chipping and kind of gross looking. This is a great hotel for a one night stay before or after you need to go to an event at SFA, as it's super close to campus. Also, don't count on the continental breakfast. There is a chick fil a nearby. Go there instead.
