“+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you again Sameera, we will hopefully see you again one day! - Only slight negative is that it could have more photographs of the historical figures or building itself going up the……

“Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. ”

“The property is remote and beautifully removed from all noise and light pollution. The staff are well trained and a pleasure to interact with as they are helpful and kind. I highly recommend this location for the discerning traveler who is not intimidated by remote locations and rough terrain in accessing the property. ”

“The Bungalow is beautifully decorated and managed by awesome team. We had such a good time here so ended up staying inside most of the time. Make sure you eat here as the menu changes and it definitely was the best food we had, especially vegetable curries. “One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very good location in Nuwara Eliya. From check-in to check-out our stay was seamless.We are three friends who stayed for one night. In the morning we came down for a walk to find some food, but the staff greeted us saying they'd been waiting for us for breakfast, as it was included! And I'd forgotten something at breakfast, but when we came back from a morning walk they had it at the front desk and handed it to me. Everyone was so kind, would definitely……

“除了用餐准备时间太长外，几乎无可挑剔。 不知道为什么会把酒店名翻译成“象牙”，太误导了。这是奥利芬家族私邸改建的酒店。 酒店很多基础设施，都有150年历史。即便新配置的家具，多半也是安装殖民时期的风格配置的，所以一走进酒店就有穿越到十九世纪的感觉。 入住当天只有我们一行5人，所以两个管家服务的很周到。只是用餐准备的时间太长，从点餐到上前餐花了一个多小时时间，因为现点现做，后厨只有一个厨师和帮手的原因。这难免引起我们的不快，我们的不满弄得两位管家很紧张，反而让我们有些心不安。晚餐虽然准备时间很长，但做的很地道，于是把不满化作感谢，大家皆大欢喜。”
