"The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property. "The Cheriz Boutique is beautiful. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The view of the tea plantation was just stunning. This is a great place for a couple's retreat - peaceful and romantic. The staff were very nice and the a la carte menu was great. It is an ideal hotel to escape to and relax. "

"The room was okay. But the bathroom was gross. It smelled. And the shower head sprayed water everywhere. The worst thing about the hotel was that it was soooo loud. There was an annoying loud noise outside our window, the whole night! And also this buzzing sound from inside the hotel, we were on the same floor as the pool—maybe there. I couldn’t figure it out. But I couldn’t sleep all night!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay in Carnation rest. The room was spacious with a separate living area that make it very comfortable. The staffs were very efficient and friendly. They even offered to wash our clothes which was very nice. Breakfast served in a cute little room and was more than adequate."
