Very disappointedPosted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: Beach is beautiful - if you can handle the locals. Feathers restaurant was very good.
Cons: Overall guest service, food quality, and security.
Did not get the room we booked (and paid extra for) was told that the resort was sold out and it clearly was not. The main pool was closed for renovations and the south pool was so dirty we wouldn't get in it. The buffet sat us multiple times where our view was the construction entrance, when we asked to be reseated they would move us to the furthest tables and then not come back to check on us. One night we tried to eat at Patios. The restaurant was nearly empty and they said the only available table was next to the hostess station, so we left. After housekeeping would clean the room our key card would not work and we would have to walk back to the check in area to get them to reset the cards. The room safe failed and we had to have security reset it. They told us we should choose another number as someone may have attempted to get into it. We ordered room service for breakfast one day and they called an hour before we had requested it be delivered and asked if they could bring it then. On the last day they were supposed to pick up our bags an hour before our bus was leaving. They never showed up so we drug everything down three flights of stairs and across the resort to catch the bus. The vendors on the beach are very aggressive and do not like to take no for an answer. We also witnessed locals harassing guests in the resort (not on the beach) after dark. This was our eighth trip to Jamaica and we have stayed with Couples before and never had issues like this time.

Great resort, everything was in walkingPosted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: Liked everything about it. The staff, rooms, restaurants, entertainment and most of all the beach.
Cons: The only thing that I would say is, there wasn't enough coffee and sugar in the rooms for two people.
Went to Couples Swept Away in Sept 2014 and this year Sept 2015. We love it there and plan on going back if not in 2016 then definitely in 2017.

All about the beachPosted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Uh, the beach! The staff was great too. Nice balconies. Good Food and Drinks.
Cons: Rooms could be a bit more accommodating. A Jacuzzi tub would be great, better shower water management, more cable choices, snacks.
Location: Dolphin Cove Rocks! Rick's Café...well ya' gotta go, right? One heck of a (long) shuttle ride to/from the airport but you can make it fun.
Arrived at night and was a bit concerned that of the three pools on site, one was an Olympic-style lap pool and one was closed for repair. Then the next day I saw the beach...what pools?? A little shy on restaurant choices. Out of 6, 2 required multi-day pre-reservation for any party larger than 4, 2 were fast-food oriented, 1 was buffet all day...but then there's the beach! If you want a break from the heat and humidity (AC), your choices are your room, 1 piano bar, or 1 reservation-only restaurant...but then there's the beach! The open-stall shower-only concept in our room left rather large, unavoidable puddles in the bathroom...but then there's the beach! Where our room was located in the resort, there was quite a bit of traffic noise from the busy highway just outside...but then there's the beach! The "vendors" on the beach take a day or so to get used to, but are easily waved off if you're not interested. There is staff security drifting about all day, but witnessed no real need for them. And hey, you're on the beach! All the food was good, all the staff was friendly and helpful, everything clean and well-kept, lots of great activities included. Then there's the beach...clean white sand, turquois waters, Tiki bars conveniently placed, plenty of loungers and rafts. Beautiful!

Nice hotel on the beachPosted Sep 25, 2015
Cons: Room A/C, soap in the shower
Staff was fantastic, guests were great, entertainment was good. A/C had trouble keeping up with the heat and then the maid would turn it off every day, had to hang out the "Do Not Disturb" sign to keep her out. Room was very clean but no shower soap. This is definitely a "Couples Only" place. Singles consider Sandals or Hedonism II.

Plush HotelPosted Sep 22, 2015
No worries Mon! Everything was simply nice. I don't usually like all inclusive because they seem to forget the native cuisine and culture, but that was not what I experienced here. Every meal was good food. I'm a big football fan and I was able to watch Sundsy games!!!!!! The water sports crew was very professional, and fun. Ask for Jermaine. I loved the remote (hut) building where I had my body treatment and massage, Georgette has magical hands!!! The grounds are well kept, lush gardens, added to the beauty of my verandahs view. I will be returning for another visit!!!

Fabulous Vacation and Resort!Posted Sep 17, 2015
Pros: Loved that so many activities were available and included. Food was wonderful!
Cons: The only thing missing was umbrellas for the beach. There were very few covered little huts.
This resort really takes care of you. Shuttles to shopping, snorkeling, water skiing, paddle boards, catamaran cruise, entertainment, float pads for the water, etc....and loved the culture too.

Wonderful stay on amazing beachPosted Sep 4, 2015
Pros: The layout and overall look of the resort, the food and the beach.
Cons: The rooms are sparsely decorated and I would have preferred a chaise lounger on my deck than a concrete couch.
Location: Take the bus to Rick's cafe! Hopefully Kerona is working-love her! and walk down to Cosmos for authentic Jamaican food! Go parasailing, ya mon!
This trip was for our honeymoon at end of August. Upon our arrival in the stunning open-air lobby, we are greeted with glasses of champagne (who wouldn't love that!). We went to our room, set it up and then went to the pool bar. The grounds are lovely and you feel like you are on a jungle path. Highlights/ Positives for this resort:. Resort is beautiful and laid out perfectly as it is long but not deep so you are never far from the beach. Bars were all unique and fun, drinks were not watered down and lots of choices. Always loved the specialty drinks of the day. Food was amazing and really enjoyed all the restaurants although we never made it to Feathers. I have an allergy to dairy and at dinners the chefs would personally come talk to me and let me know what items on the menu would work. So very impressed with the style and decorations for each place, very lush, tropical and open, lots of dark wood and soft colors. The Jamaican people really make it stand out. They are friendly and always singing random songs-loved that. So the beach is really the most breathtaking here, powder sand, warm water, calm waves. Felt safe at all times, Couples works hard to make sure you have a perfect vacation. We had talked to several people staying there and have also vacationed at other resorts in Jamaica; all had shared we picked the best resort on the island! We have to agree! We will go back for sure and include one of the other resorts in our stay!
