Amazing. Best vacation of our lives, hands down. The hotel staff are true professionals, and so very kind and sociable. We enjoyed scuba diving every morning, and the PADI-certified dive staff were top-notch. The restaurants are all excellent, and even the buffet food was of the highest quality. Beach is clean, security staff are visible but not intrusive. We liked it much better than Maui. Will definitely become regular customers.

Great location, steps away from the beach

Posted Aug 20, 2015
My husband and I stayed at coupled five nights for our 30th anniversary. It was not long enough, you need at least a week. There is so much to do. The catamaran was the best, swimming in caves was awesome. We snorkeled, enjoyed the glass bottom boat, had dinner on the beach. I would highly recommend dinner on the beach, very romantic. The service was great, the Jamaican people very nice and accommodating , they really go out of there way. We did not want to leave.

25th Anniversary Vacation

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: HEART Team
Cons: We were told everything was included in all-inclusive (including tips) However Baggage at the airport
I felt very secure within the Resort's boundaries. They did an wonderful job keeping outsiders from bothering you and trying to sell you something. The security team would be right there if you did want to purchase anything. Their staff, Shanice, Jahfet, Jameal are excellent at their jobs. They were always smiling and cheerful. Couples Swept Away has a great access to the beautiful beach, great rooms and nice pools. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Beautiful resort next to Carribean Sea!

The resort was fantastic and the staff was extremely helpful and nice! We stayed in a beachfront suite that was just steps away from the water and the room was spacious with a very nice and big porch!! We plan to return again. Our experience was wonderful!!

Hotel room has too many bugs.

Posted Aug 16, 2015
My husband and I changed rooms twice due to the numbers of bugs in the room. The second room had to be exterminated. I had many sleepless nights!

Beach vacation perfection

Posted Aug 11, 2015
I love the way Couples Swept Away is set up as groups of cottages rather than one big hotel complex-- having all the foliage around the cabins makes it feel more rustic and relaxing. We loved being on the first floor and able to walk out our patio door to the beach (100 yards away). The staff was amazing, truly happy people wanting to serve you and make your experience the best. Every meal was above average and the variety very good. The beach/sand/ocean was the best we've been too - soft, fine, white sand and very clear ocean - - with quite a bit of distance to walk into / wade or swim, etc. The lounge chair pads that double as floats are a huge bonus!! The water sports station is very accessible and has tons of great FREE/INCLUDED activities -- snorkeling, sailing, water skiing, and our favorite the late afternoon catamaran cruise. We had a GREAT VACATION and will tell everyone about Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica!!

Above my expectations

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Activities, beach, food
Cons: Night entertainment. Aura night club is a little old school. There could be more night time activities on the beach, or around the pool...
Location: Really close to famous Margaritaville and Rick's Cafe
I was really against "all inclusive hotels" until Couples Swept Away. Everything was perfect. It has the most beautiful beach ever. And almost all of the activities/water sports are included in the price. We even did a free scuba dive and saw a plane wreck!!! We had waterski, sailing and wind surfing lessons, and did the catamaran cruise twice :) The food usually in this kind of hotels are very low quality but not in Couples Swept Away. Everything we have tried was so delicious. I say try all of the restaurants they have. If i must suggest anything to the newcomers, i'd say try night snorkelling with an additional fee. It really is worth the price, at night time you see all kinds of different creatures underwater. We stayed at the beachfront verandah suite on first floor, it was what i have always dreamed of. But if you are too anxious about bugs it's really hard to keep the ants out in first floor, we didn't mind but you might need to ask for 2nd or 3rd floor.

Great food and activities

Posted Aug 3, 2015
The beach is great, has some people trying to sell stuff but security is usually on them pretty quickly. It's great for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. Some activities were hard to sign up for and filled up quick. The best thing was the food, definitely great chefs and fresh ingredients. Would like to try another resort to compare but awesome.
