even better then the first timePosted Jan 28, 2016
Pros: customer service and beach condition
Cons: overly aggressive sales people on beach
Location: sign up for the trips to dolphin cove and ricks Cafe. both great experiences
this is our second time visiting swept away. we are already planing our 3rd trip here. food is definitely better than the first time we were here. customer service is outstanding. the only issue I would have is the sometime overly aggressive sales people on the beach.

beautiful and uncrowdedPosted Jan 21, 2016
Pros: Beach grounds staff very relaxing and laid back with a very local touch
Cons: facility maintenance, more diversity of food choices
Location: swim year round. dolphin swim horseback riding
Location was beautiful. Great weather awesome beach very friendly staff. Food was excellent. Lots of included activities. Not at all crowded even though 70% full. Chairs and floats always available. Facitilies while not run down could have used better maintence. Grounds were beautiful. Older crowd. Lots of repeat guests. Some honeymooners.

Nicest Beach I have ever seenPosted Jan 20, 2016
Pros: Nicest Beach ever seen
Cons: Get rid of stray cats, improve food and service quality.
Location: Can walk down beach and experience local / small shops, hotels, bars restraunts.
This hotel is on the nicest beach I have ever seen with its prime location on 7 mile beach. You can swim in the 82 degree water or walk down the beach for miles with one direction past other all-inclusive resorts, the other direction past smaller local shops, boutique hotels, bars, restaraunts. Swept Away is the largest of the Couples Resorts and has more of a mega-resort feel as compared to the other 3 Couples resorts that have a small, quaint, friendly, boutique feel. Although our room, hotel and beach was excellent, food quality and selection was average at best. Service was average and did not meet our expectation of the personalized high quality that we have experienced at other Couples resorts we have stayed at. The hotel and beach is great and we will be back soon.

First rate all inclusive on Jamaica's best beachPosted Jan 17, 2016
The many small buildings in this all inclusive resort make it feel like a village in a tropical setting. The friendly, attentive and plentiful staff leave you feeling well taken care of, whether dining in the restaurants, getting drinks on the beach or trying one of the many water sports options. The housekeeping staff were first rate, coming twice a day to keep your room neat and clean and supplied with fresh towels. We love our grandchildren, but it was nice being among adult couples for our winter vacation week. Oh. It's also situated on the best beach in Jamaica. We would return to this resort in a minute.

Posted Jan 16, 2016
Pros: Staff was excellent, Rooms including bathrooms were very clean, Food was outstanding
Cons: Maybe some beach umbrella's. There aren't enough thatched cabanas and they're taken very early usually by a book or a towel.
Better than I expected from an All-Inclusive. Older hotel but well maintained. The trees and grounds are well established making the hotel even lusher

Relaxing place, some road noisePosted Jan 15, 2016
Cons: Less traffic noise. It would be great if there were glass on the windows, but that takes away from the "hut" feel.
Great beach, good food. We had a room in the 2nd "row" of buildings, but we could still hear the road noise. It wasn't that bad, but early in the morning it could be annoying for a light sleeper. Also, the carts that the workers would use were very noisy on the sidewalks, which could wake some people up in the morning. But beyond that there isn't much to complain about. 8 days here was wonderful. Great beach, lots of shade if you want it. The locals on the beach were a little annoying trying to sell stuff, but it wasn't that bad. Great place.
