Lovely setting, so peaceful!! Great for fishing and canoes provided for water enthusiasts!! Lodge has everything you could need, basic but clean and comfortable. Ely and Cambridge close by to explore. All in all a great break!
B&B only but 2 miles from Ely town centre taxi ride for excellent restaurants in evening! Beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings. Location quite and peaceful- except for the occasional military jets. Very good welcome from lovely staff. Breakfast superb - freshly prepared from good ingredients. ...
It was very quite and the food was excellent. The room was clean and plenty of towels.
Very comfortable and the food was lovely.
Great value for a Riverside view. Comfy beds, amazing tea/coffee tray, lovely bathrooms.
Very pleasant stay at the Rosery. Very happy staff and the food was good too! We had beautiful weather.....not sure how it would be if it was pouring with rain with the little walk across the garden to the restaurant and the glass roof of the dining room!!! Would definitely stay again.
Great reception when we arrived on the barge, including a glass of red or white wine.
Netherhall Manor is an interesting spot to spend a few hours.
Go and check it out in Ely.
If you want to treat yourself, experience brilliant service and simply relax, investigate the selection of luxury hotels a short drive away. The Deerview deserves to be on your shortlist. If you'd like more options, another good recommendation is the Old Hall.
Not many travelers can endure a busy day of tours and walking without a pick-me-up. Cafe Skylark is a top place because it is near Netherhall Manor. If you want something a bit more substantial, take a look at the daily specials at Good Luck Take Away, another dining establishment that's not far away. And lastly, pop open a beer and chat with some of the friendly locals while you kick up your feet at The Carpenters Arms.
