“My impression of the Big 4 Big River Holiday Park was a disappointment, over priced for what was on offer. This Park was tidy, but lack shaded areas or greenery, has a very mediocre (small) size gated swimming pool. The two bedroom cabins are very small containing a matchbox size bathroom, the shower floor tiles are extremely slippery, with the shower hot and cold water hard to regulate. The slope down to the riverside from the cabin was too steep if for anyone mobility issues. On the positive……

“My three children, husband and I stayed in the family room at the Fitzroy Motor Inn and found it to be very clean and comfortable, and a great size for us all (we could each have our own space without being on top of each other). The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had everything we needed.”

“Was pretty clean and comfortable except Beds are very hard. Well priced but could do with some extras like extra towels and blankets, a hand towel, washing up liquid, a chux to wipe benches, a water jug for the fridge and ice cube trays. Inside was pretty nice but outside is right next to the stables and the smell was pretty bad. Thankfully couldn’t smell it inside with windows closed. Overall good value for money”
