“Hotel was very clean and staff were super nice. It’s right across from St Patrick’s cathedral and super walkable to most touristy things in downtown Dublin. I liked how you could control everything in the room from a iPad and the shower was awesome. Would def recommend.”

“Room was spacious and very clean. Tasty breakfast and you will experience the enthusiasm of all staffs. The Lockside restaurant bar was excellent in service and tasty food and drink. Good atmosphere for visitors relaxing after day out. The hotel was located 15 minutes walk to most attractions.”

“Really appreciate all the little things in the hotel. Cool decoration, cool furniture, cool music and artworks. Choose this hotel if you want something cool in Dublin.”

“The Mercantile is a recently renovated property, so everything is fresh and new. Rooms are a tad tight, but my understanding is that is to be expected. There isn’t much of a desk, and someone made a poor decision to glue their in-room phone right in the center of the little desk area there is. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are a little tough. Rooms were soundproofed so you don’t hear much outside, and they have great climate control/ air conditioning.
Breakfast service could use a bit of……

“Everything was wonderful but I would like to suggest that you have your coffee room open earlier as many guests have early flights etc and really need a coffee!”

“Excellent stay, very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms and hotel all round with a very friendly and helpful welcome. Restaurant is a great choice for good quality food and big portion sizes. Outdoor bar and seating area with great views is a bonus and a perfect place for relaxing on a sunny day. Great transport links to Dublin and further south with the DART only a 5 min walk away. Safe and welcoming location.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The front desk manager was very accommodating. The rooms are very nice. It’s in a quiet part of town yet a ten minute walk away is all of the action in Dublin. One complaint is in the listing on Expedia it mentions on site parking. There is no on site parking. To get yo the off site parking is confusing. I’ll try and upload a picture of the listing.”
