“Hello, This is not a small hotel as the pictures seem to show. This is basically a place renting rooms to people arriving in the evening for an early morning rise to see sunrise on Mt Bromo. I have never seen rooms and bathrooms so dirty, the bed sheet were dirty. There is no reception at all. We were obviously not expected on arrival. Lucky my friend could speak indonesian to find some food in the evening and a driver for the next morning. Certainly not a place i would recommend to independent……

“Dieses Guesthouse kann man nicht empfehlen. Seruni kennt niemand vor Ort. Am Haus steht ASTUNGKARA - Uns wurde zunächst eine Besenkammer zugewiesen, obwohl Twin-Bed gebucht, nur ein Kingbett. Nach Beschwerde und bösen Blicken anderes Zimmer erhalten. Ohne Handtücher und Toilettenpapier. Das haben wir uns dann selbst organisiert. Niemand war vor Ort. Angeblich weil ein hinduistisches Fest sei. - Die Bettwäsche war zwar neuwertig aber schmutzig. In der zweiten Nacht traf ein Ehepaar aus……

“Amazing views over mountainside farms and a clean and spacious room. It was perfect for a quick stay while visiting Bromo. Only complaint is that the shower head was broken and the hot water ran out in seconds. Also the road is loud in the early morning as Jeeps go by, so not great if you’re a light sleeper. I would definitely stay there again”
