“Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Château de Villars.Personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable.Côté restauration, le chef Benoît Gaucher s’est déchaîné aux fourneaux et nous a régalé pendant 4 soirs montrant une grande inventivité.Ses linguine aux truffes resteront gravés dans notre mémoire.”

“Stunning castle and grounds, nicely appointed with very traditional furnishings. Well maintained. Grégoire, his wife and family were gracious hosts - we felt most welcome during our week-long stay. We stayed in the old block and small tower, away from the main tower. Some may find the accommodation a bit spooky, we did, but after the first night we found it added to the adventure. The pool was very pleasant, around 27 or 28degrees so perfect temperature. In the immediate surrounding area……

“We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.”

“Durant notre séjour de 4 jours nous avons pleinement profité de la splendide demeure et de son magnifique parc. Les chambres sont vastes et bien équipées en lits, la salle à manger permet d'accueillir un grand nombre de personne (nous étions 13), et la cuisine est très adaptée pour la préparation de repas pour un groupe. Le parc est très agréable, avec différents espaces. Les enfants comme les adultes en ont beaucoup profité. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très facilitants. Un grand……
