“This property was a modern, clean cottage a few minutes up from Akureyri center. It was not an issue for us to take a few minutes to drive where we wanted to go. The setting is peaceful and offers great views. The home itself was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed except for one seemingly minor but nonetheless annoying thing: the coffee mugs wouldn’t fit under the coffee maker.Aside from that, everything was perfect. “Helga greeted us upon arrival. She was a wonderful and helpful person. This is a magical and incredibly peaceful place. The hot spring and the views were amazing! This was the perfect place to start our anniversary celebration in Iceland. We couldn’t have asked for a more special place. We will return and I would highly recommend. Thanks Helga!”
