“Michelle and Scott were wonderful hosts. So kind and knowledgeable about the area. They picked us up from the airport and took us to the grocery store for snacks and such and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t have set plans upon arriving so we took their suggestion to visit Lamanai and it was the perfect recommendation. The Gecko Bungalow grounds are so lovely; well decorated and comfortable. There’s lots of lighting accents everywhere and the pool in the courtyard with the swim……

“The entire place is so well-designed and nicely lighted at night so the area can be enjoyed well after dark. The pool was sparkling clean and just perfect for relaxing with lounge chairs in the water. Our unit was very comfortable - great air conditioner and fan - and the decor is very cute. The owners are so helpful and friendly and very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.”

“We stayed in a wonderful space with a fully furnished kitchen, bedroom with AC and a nice-sized bathroom. The property was a bit difficult to find at first, but it was comfortable to feel slightly tucked away and off the Main Street. The property manager let us check in a few hours early because of our arrival time, and that was SUPER appreciated! We had a wonderful time in this space, would definitely recommend staying here! ”
