“Cute little boutique hotel. It is self check in, so no service desk when you check in. The owner/manager reached out several times during our stay and gave good directions for check in. However, during our stay there were several other couples who did not receive their check in info. The restaurant attached was extremely helpful. A suggestion would be to leave a phone number for guests to use in case this happens. Our stay was nice and we would stay there again!”

“We held a family reunion of 14 people with dogs at the Mariner and had a wonderful time. The facility is very well equipped, the fenced yard great for dogs, and while "steps from the water" might be aggressive marketing it's not hard and the town of Northport is full of attractions. The Fears were good attentive hosts and Northern Michigan as a summer vacation spot is now legend in our family.”

Parking was available right outside the house. Terri put out a wonderful spread for breakfast. She had many delicious items on a beautifully laid out table.”
