“We booked 2 rooms for 2 days. There was a very strong odor of dog urine in the office. The owner/ receptionist had 3 dogs running around in there. The rooms were reasonably clean. However there were used false eyelashes and a couple of press on nails left on top of the microwave. The first day went well. The second day we went to the pool. “If your booking through Expedia. Call ahead to learn how to sign in to your room. Its All ONLINE. There's nothing mentioned on the Expedia site about this. You can catch the site manager to get signed in. There are NO WHEELCHAIR accessible rooms. We had to build a small ramp to get ours inside. Rooms are very nice and the AC is cold. Ask how to adjust it because there is no control in the room. Now that we know the layout we will be visiting again. We will bring our own ramps next time.”

“We booked this house in Oak Island to be near family for awhile. But we really feel in love with it. We've rented many houses over the years in several different states. None of them were as well stocked as Bees Knees! Everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need. Also, the bathrooms were well stocked with necessities. Its within walking distance to the beach and just an overall great location. Very much appreciated they allowed our dog to be there. We will definitely return!”

“I was a solo traveler and really enjoyed my stay. It was clean and affordable. The pool was not crowded. The beach was right across the street and you could see it from the location. The room had plenty of towels and essentials and even added their personal touch. The management checked in with me asking me about my stay while I was there. It was close to shops and restaurants. I would absolutely stay there again.”
