Nice Property, Frustrating Experience with Vacasa
We enjoyed the location and comfort of the condo. Furniture and beds were great, but the experience was let down by cleanliness and guest support. The unit had not been cleaned properly before arrival. My wife and I had to spend over two hours cleaning the floors, bathrooms, and surfaces before our elderly in-laws arrived. There was not even a broom provided.The bigger issue was when the AC stopped working one night. With two small children, the rising temperature made it difficult for them to sleep. I contacted guest services and was told help was on the way, but I ended up speaking to three different people, each giving conflicting information. I wasted hours waiting and making calls, only to later learn that onsite maintenance could have fixed it from the beginning. The AC was eventually repaired, but the process was disorganized and unnecessarily stressful.Golden Sands is a great building, and the unit itself has potential. But due to the lack of cleanliness and frustrating customer service through Vacasa, I would not book through them again.
