“We only stayed one night, and got there late, but the place is cute, clean, and we slept well. I was worried when I heard arguing in another room, but didn’t hear it with the window unit on. Breakfast was great. They actually had a salad for breakfast, which I’ve never seen anywhere, but I happily ate, as well as the smoked salmon (lax). “This Carriage House was the best B & B my wife and I have visited so far! Super helpful staff, great breakfast, very clean room, just a few minutes walk from the beach, serene surroundings. “This was a 2 room apartment. It was spotlessly clean. Very nice bathroom. We only slept there, but there was a small microwave above the sink, so you could do oatmeal or microwave food, esp if wanting to have breakfast there. Kuerig coffee pot, some pods, and a few creamers...you'd need more if a couple folks don't want black coffee. A nice dorm style fridge for your food from home or leftovers from dinner! “Loved the property and the location! I gave only 4 stars because of the room, I messaged the owner about a few things I thought needed improvement. Otherwise, it had everything I needed. The pic is from the 1st floor balcony :)”

“Not the romantic getaway we expected… Pictures shown in the listing did not accurately depict the room we rented. While the room appeared clean it was not in the best of shape. The bathroom had missing hooks, drywall in need of repair and as overall teeny tiny. The towels looked like someone pulled them out of their hall closet. The room itself was tight. The floors were sloped. The door was a basic interior door that didn’t provide a sense of security. The bed did not have a headboard. And……

“Picture of the bedroom was not as depicted in the ad, big gap under door entrance to the room, box spring mattress missing lowering the bed extremely low, shower curtain fell down even before I got a chance to use it should be anchored on both sides. Positives were the hvac was great, the bathroom nice and very easy to access with a code.”

“It was a great little room for a one night stay for a wedding . Check in was easy , it was clean and in a great location it was walking distance about a 5 min walk to downtown ocean grove and a ten minute drive to asbury park . Also communication with the host was great, answered me quickly and was helpful with any questions I had . ”
