The hotel room and amenities were super clean and the view from my room and the garden were spectacular. The only negative is that you have to take a taxi in and out of the hotel which is quite expensive.

Kurashiki Ekimae Universalhotel
Both breakfast and dinner are included in the price. Public bath with hot spring water was available too. Good deal. A convenient store is nearby. They kept our luggage before checking in but they didn’t secure - no locks, number tags, or anything. Somebody could take it, though it wasn’t a busy ...

Hotel Granvia Okayama
The room was a bit dated, but clean and well appointed. The front desk staff was helpful whenever we had questions and we enjoyed the pianist in the lobby.
