Nice apartment,freezing cold, no working heaters.Posted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: Nicely decorated room but no very basic.
Arrived on what was probably the coldest day of the year and the room was freezing, probably on a restricted temperature. There was a bedroom and living room with wall heaters with a control panel but with no temperature on, obviously so you could not see what the temporature was. Found out they would only ran for a short period of time then switch themselves off. It was that cold when I went for a nap I left my clothes on in bed. Went out on the evening and returned to a freezing cold room. Didn't go in the living area as it was too cold. Then was woken at 7am on sunday morning to what sounded like I was standing under a bridge with constance trains going by. Looked out of the window to see a Sainsbury lorry, at the back of the apartments, off loading trays on metal wheels, this lasted for 1/2 hour. My phone said it was - 7 and it felt like it. When I asked reception what the room temperature was set at he couldn't tell me. When I said the wall heaters did not stay on he said they were only there to boost the tempurature. I asked if the only option was to get up during the night to keep switching the heating on to keep the room warm and he said yes!! Stopped in a lot of different hotels over many years and never had this problem before especially when paying a lot of money for 1 night, obviously owners profit means more than customers comfort.

Great place to stay if you are spending a few days in Edinburgh, appreciate the convenience of a small apartment and want to be close to the centre. What's not to like!

Lovely apartmentPosted Nov 13, 2017
Room was difficult to find at first, level 3 is a bit of a maze- but when we got in to the room it was gorgeous. We never used the cooking utensils but there was lots there and complimentary milk cartons for your hot drinks. The bathroom was spacious and so was the apartment itself. It was extremely noisy at night unfortunately, and I did find it difficult to sleep. The location was good and wasn't far to walk further in to the old town. Would definitely stay here again

Steps, dirty trashy outside liftPosted Sep 18, 2017
Too many steps in 3 level loft even when elevator works there were more steps on the floors themselves to get to your room then in the rooms 3 levels, no place to lay down your suitcase. Breakfast good but expensive. Would not recommend for seniors

5 minutes walk to the Old city!Posted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: His location
Well located, clean and pratical. A bit disappointed by the exterior look (the building itself is behind the front building showned on picture). Many corridors to reach the appartment itself. Cozy inside with all what it requires. Quiet environment.

Pros: Location, friendly helpful staff
Cons: Microwave had to be replaced, would have liked this done befor we took the room, however it was replaced as soon as it could be.
Location: Quiet location, just of the Main Street about a mile from Waverley station - brilliant
Small apartment, very clean and convenient, as has small kitchen, very useful to go back to during the day. Brilliant location, very quiet, but only minutes from the events
