“The Island is a great place to stay. It’s right on the water, and we enjoyed long days relaxing, swimming and being out on the water on the stand-up paddle boards and in the kayaks. We had a wonderful night a night of fishing right off the dock when the lake was calm and our boys caught some fish. The sunsets were gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. The loft room is quite warm as the a/c or fans don’t cool it down so our boys slept together in the second bedroom to……

“Scott was a fantastic host - very responsive & easy to work with! Lots of room for us to spread out & relax without feeling we were on top of each other! Hot tub, pool/pingpong table & foosball were as shown & greatly enjoyed.Also had several hot games of cards at the kitchen table!!Loved the sunroom too! The listing did say "pool" but apparently an above ground pool was recently removed. Not a problem at all for us as we wouldn't have had time to use it anyway.Very convenient for our family -……

“The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!”

“Our group of 12 (3 families) stayed at the property for 4 nights. The lake house is perfectly located with beautiful views of the lake and full access to the dock with pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle boat. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the water activities and fishing. The house is charming and has everything you might need for a great vacation: good room sizes with multiple beds, fully stocked kitchen, grill outside, firepit, screened porch, selection of board games, fishing rods,……

“Planned a two night stay with me, my husband, our daughter (8), and son (4). The kids loved the look of "our log cabin" immediately. It was a great jumping off point to explore the area. On our one day we explored three small towns. I had dreams of kayaking but it was a bit long to caddy them for any non-adult, plus we had plenty to do otherwise.Beds were comfy and all of us slept well. “We had an awesome week playing games, hiking nearby with kids, fishing off the dock and took a day trip to the Dells. There was plenty of space for our family of six but if you are planning on using the loft in the two bedrooms it’s a good idea to bring sleeping pads. Definitely would recommend to friends or family looking for a place in the area.”
