The setting is serene, surrounded by olive groves and close to the coast, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. One of the highlights of our visit was the fish set menu – fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt authentically Salento. "We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel degli Haethey. It's in a quiet part of town, about 15 minutes' walk from the centre, near some nice beaches. The Atlantis beach club has a very good restaurant that's open in the evening. The air conditioning can't be adjusted, but they were happy to give us a fan. They also gave us extra pillows. A few areas to improve: The Do Not Disturb indicator, that should light up next to the door, didn't work. Two light bulbs were not working, and were not replaced despite several requests."
