In the nature reserve of the Amblève lies a special place, the “Fonds de Quarreux”. During a walk of 1,5 km along the river you will discover these mysterious rounded boulders. While digging its bed, the Amblève eroded the friable shale but left intact the (much harder) white-veined quartzite blocks.

"Mooi gelegen en goed bereikbaar.Er waren helaas ook een aantal minpuntjes:In de beschrijving staat 3 badkamers, er zijn er 2Helaas geen parasol, het was dus niet relaxed om overdag buiten te zitten met 32 gr. "We spent three nights at this lovely place, and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The house is located in a charming small town. We met our neighbors, who were all extremely friendly. The property includes a large garden where you can enjoy the sun. Our host was very friendly and responded quickly to all our messages. "The house had interesting furniture and decor. The host came by to say hi and said to ask if anything was needed. It was all good but appreciated them making themselves known. Everything worked and the house, sheets and linens were all clean. It was convenient for groceries and restaurants and an easy drive to Spa where we were attending a race.
