“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”
“Lovely cottage exceptionally clean
Lovely 6ft bed, Lovely bedding and towels, everything you need in the kitchen area fridge freezer and wecome pack, and a lovely swim pool in garden with plenty of seating area's, hosts very nice and friendly cannot fault this cottage would return.”
“Lovely stay, just a few yards from the sea front. Lisa and Christophe made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool was great and just what you need after a long drive or busy day around Torbay. The breakfasts we enjoyed each morning were delicious and kept us full throughout the day. Would definitely return and highly recommend a stay at the lovely Charterhouse if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay.”
“Stayed 4 nights, restaurant experience was very expensive for what you got. Lack of staff serving at the bar. Took 30 minutes for staff member to get new bottle of proceso. It would have been helpful if we had been told there was filming happening as well on one of the days. It felt at times with the film crew guests were in the way”

“Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there.
Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel.
Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed.”
