“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”
“Lovely stay, just a few yards from the sea front. Lisa and Christophe made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool was great and just what you need after a long drive or busy day around Torbay. The breakfasts we enjoyed each morning were delicious and kept us full throughout the day. Would definitely return and highly recommend a stay at the lovely Charterhouse if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay.”
“Surprised to get twin room with a side sea view although no access to balcony.bathroom tiny but served it’s purpose but was a little dusty.beautiful breakfast and had a bar meal one evening which was delicious,crab and prawn linguine.pool was ok,shame outdoor was closed.think that’s permanent”
