“Excellent facilities, clean and modern room. The rooms were very warm, even with a fan. I think a thinner duvet for the summer would be a good call. Food in the restaurant was very good however the services was quite poor. Granted it was a busy Saturday night but the services for drinks and ordering food was very slow and we felt forgotten about. We didn’t get asked if we would like to see the dessert menu and if we hadn’t had asked for the bill we would have been waiting all night. All in all……

“Stayed here 2 nights. The chef Elvis outdoes himself with Michelen star quality meals. The Crab Salad and Pork Rigatone were faultless. Best meals I have eaten in Europe. Friendly bar staff and spacious room with first class bathroom. Mattress needs replacing though.”

Within good distance for both Chatsworth House & Bakewell also good walks from the inn. I had a very pleasant stay, thank you to the staff.”
