The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. “I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but this really was the best rental we have ever stayed at. It checked all the boxes for us: It was spacious, the views were amazing, it was quiet, and it was in the most charming area. The host was great to communicate with, and the location is a huge plus. “This was the second time I stayed at Villa San Lorenzo (the first time was in 2012). While I LOVED it the first time, Clay has done some renovations on the whole property, inside and out of the villa structure, including adding 3-ish stunning acres of Nebbiolo vines, and one of my friends said, "Every inch of this place is so well-thought out and perfect!" “Amazing views, spacious rooms, perfect pool, and wonderful hosts. Cristian was Attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Monforte D’Alba is the quintessential Italian town, and it’s only a 3 minute drive from this gorgeous property. Can’t recommend this piece of paradise enough. 5 stars!Thank you! “We waren in Ciglie om een weekje te fietsen en hebben het erg goed gehad in Villa Elma. Ciglie is een schitterend dorpje, met niet veel meer dan een kerk, een kasteel en een restaurant.
