“Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Haus sehr genossen! Es war ruhig, gemütlich und der Blick ist spektakulär. Natürlich ist die Anfahrt eine Hausnummer, aber wenn man es mal gefahren ist, schätzt man die Abgeschiedenheit. :-)”

“Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but……

“Great place to stay for family. Short drive to Menaggio. Property has everything you need. A tea towel for kitchen would be useful. ”

“Took the train/bus to Varenna from Milan. Check in was a short walk from bus stop. Apartment was a perfect location for our visit. Public dock was right outside the apartment. Ferry was a 10 minute walk. Apartment was spacious and nice. ”

“Das Haus liegt in mitten einer malerischen Berglandschaft, fernab von öffentlichen Straßen und Massentourismus. Wer die Ruhe sucht, wird hier fündig. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist das Haus einfach perfekt, da man es sich vor dem Kamin oder am Lagerfeuer gemütlich machen kann und einfach das Alleinsein genießen kann. ”
