Overall a good experience with our stay but the layout and cleanliness of the house was not as expected, it is an old home that has been somewhat kept up. The kitchen is almost unusable with many broken drawers and overall dirtiness, some dining room table chairs were broken, the 3rd bathroom is in an unfinished basement so not ideal to use and again, not very clean, and there were fruit flies. The rooms were a good size & beds are very comfortable and location is close to getting to other areas but nothing walking distance and you wouldn't want to walk the area. The host was accommodating and had great communication so it just depends on your needs and expectations for a stay.

Lots of Space

We had 4 families converge in Pittsburgh for a birthday reunion. The event was held elsewhere but we wanted to stay together. This house was perfect. The location was just a few blocks from a great playground and a small shopping area (with a target). The bedrooms were large and bathrooms updated. The living space was big enough for the kids to play and there was actually two spaces for games. The upstairs game room and a ping pong table in the basement. FYI - there is no door to the basement (I suggest the host should provide one), there is a way to close it off but it blocks the circular flow of the main floor. There is plenty of street parking as the lot is on a corner. There was not a set of twin beds as pictured, instead we had 5 bedrooms and 6 queen beds. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances newer. The host Amy, was great as well, very accommodating and easy to work with.
