“Nette nieuwe schone kamers, fijn centraal gelegen in Bolsward, betaalbaar, met airco & Nespresso, gemakkelijk inchecken en toegang zonder receptie! Enige minpuntje: in onze kamer kon geen raam open, waardoor “frisse” lucht alleen vanuit de airco kwam.”

“Van der Valk Leeuwarden exceeded our expectations. The hotel is modern, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive from check-in until departure. Breakfast offered a wide selection of fresh, high-quality food. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere felt luxurious yet relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.”

“De badkamer was klein maar heel schoon. Er is geen plaats voor een wasbak, dus dat staat in de kamer. Op zich goed opgelost, maar wel een beerje vreemd.”

“I booked this hotel based on the high ratings at Hotels.com, but unfortunately my experience didn’t quite match the expectations those reviews created. The building is noticeably worn out and in need of renovation. There is no elevator, and the only way up is via steep, narrow, winding staircases that require real caution when carrying luggage or simply moving between floors. The rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed. It was so noisy that it often felt as if other guests were standing inside……

“整體來說還不錯，但是飯店人員不是很積極，我在15:00 check-in，可能太準時了，櫃檯人員打電話上去詢問房間好了嗎，然後說再請我們稍等五分鐘，我們到旁邊等待，中間一直有其他的旅客進來check-in，而他們都可以直接馬上入住，我們就這樣等等等，等了20分鐘，中間一直也有跟櫃檯人員對上眼，但她並沒有做任何表示，或是幫我們詢問房間，最後是我們等不下去才再次上前問房間好了嗎？櫃檯人員才打電話，然後告訴我們「好了」...那請問我們前面是在等心酸的嗎？這樣的態度實在令人失望！幸好後面的飯店整理、客服服務，還算是拉回了一點分數。”

“Prachtig hotel. Alles doe je eigenlijk zelf, maar er is personeel beschikbaar bij vragen. Voordeur, kamerdeur; alles werkt via je telefoon. Kamers zijn ruim en schoon. Heel handig aparte wc en doucheruimte ook apart van wastafel. Eigenlijk 3 aparte ruimtes/gedeeltes gecreëerd. Bij aankomst of vertrek kan de bagage opgeslagen worden in lockers in de kelder. Op de begane grond diverse hoekjes waar je kan lezen of spelletje spelen. Bij mooi weer is er de fijne stadstuin. Kort samengevat: mooi……

“Leuk hotel in het centrum van Leeuwarden. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterzijde. Uitzicht op een blinde muur, maar daardoor ook geen last van lawaai van het terras. Schoon, ruim, voldoende kastruimte. In/uitchecken via het ondergelegen restaurant "Fire". Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Aanrader!”

“The room was nice and clean, the only downsides were how many random sets of stairs you have to drag your luggage up and down to get to the correct elevator if your room is in the other building. The two person bed room is really great if you want to sleep next to your partner without snuggling, as if they try they’ll get swallowed up by the beds separating, haha.”
