I liked the price, the location, and the staff. We stayed there while on a motorcycle trip, we pulled a trailor and had our own lawn chairs so we set them on the lawn outside our room's window and had a lovely relaxing evening. We could walk to the Muesuem and the Covered Wagon Restaraunt and the Hot Springs right accross the street. Thank you!

Classic Lava Hot Springs hotel. Built many years ago and hasn’t been updated much. This 2050’s road side motel. It’s all part of the experience and we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lava Motel & RV Park. Our room had a jacuzzi tub! And it right across the street from the Hot Springs as well as the river access for tubing. We could hear the river from our room, it was so relaxing!

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of it all. Front desk clerk was wonderful, especially when I locked myself out of my room. Had to go to the office after hours because I could not find my key. He quickly and kindly verified my name then opened my room for me.

Box elder bugs in the room... hair of previous guests in the towels, paper thin doors that didnt seal to the door frame at any point, so the blessed motorcycle customers coming an going all night to the bars was... annoying. The exhaust fan in our room didnt work so the steam from the big jetted tub made the room damp. TV was small... almost Michael Scott Plasma small... and the cable package they purchased was 73 channels of QVC in 7 languages and a fuzzy local channel... it was worse than no tv at all to be honest. The best thing about the stay... aceoss the street from the good hot springs in town and a short walk to Rouge Restaurant... the only elevated eating experience in town... the Pot Roast was TOP SHELF. The guy running the place was super kind and hilarious... he deserves a better property to run. It looks kitchy online... its not very kitchy... we were hoping a motel like Sam an Dean from SuperNatural would stay in... we search those out. That is not what this is. An thats ok.
