“We had a lovely stay at Grillo Iole. Ana and Mattias were very welcoming, and made us feel at home. The property and surrounding countryside are beautiful, and the apartment was spacious for our needs. We also loved the two winery dogs, who were friendly and happy to hang out with us on the terrace. Highly recommend the cellar tour and tasting, especially the exquisite Schiopettino di Prepotto, and the fabulous breakfast.”

The room is oriented and only 2-3 meters away from the main road on which, among other things, trucks drive, and the doors do not provide any sound insulation. “This hotel is difficult to get to because the old city is closed to traffic. We circled for a good 30 min before we we able to get close enough to drop our bags. We parked in a parkafe not far from the property. Once we were finally there, it was amazing!”

“Really well appointed and spacious apartment in gorgeous village of Smartno. Everything you could need and everything very close by in terms of food and drink options. Buffet breakfast was provided at a premises just around the corner. Comfy big bed.”

“I loved my stay here at the Hotel Miramare ! The room was very clean and fresh with the bathroom, clean as well. I had a room overlooking the Adriatic with lounge chairs and enjoyed a relaxing ( but cool) evening outdoors. The restaurant had a very good tapas type menu. I had the baba Ganoush as well as the meatballs and they were wonderful ! Pricing was very good for the food as well as the drinks.
