Affectionally known as Cruzan Decks, this delightful 4BR/3.5BA stilted two-story beach house truly captures the spirit of the Gulf Coast. Nautical decor imparts a festive beachy vibe throughout the inviting living areas.

Walk to the beach in 3 minutes, or stay close to home and enjoy the fantastic water views from two large decks.

LIVING AREAS

At the end of an exhilarating day of fun in the surf and sand, gather your group on the large leather sectional sofa to watch a movie on the 37” TV in the living room. A recliner and two wicker armchairs offer additional seating.

KITCHEN & DINING

Indulge your inner chef in the fully stocked kitchen. Two refrigerators guarantee you’ll never run out of space, while additional helpful kitchen gadgets include a microwave, toaster, and coffee pot.

The dining room table provides seating for eight, while a breakfast bar offers additional seating for four.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps 10 guests in four bedrooms. Three full bathrooms and a convenient half bath are stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries and bath amenities.

A king bed in the master bedroom provides a comfy spot to kick back. Watch your favorite shows on the 32” TV with Dish and enjoy direct access to the upper-level deck. The en-suite master bath features a walk-in shower and luxurious soaking tub.

The second bedroom offers a queen bed and a flat screen TV. An en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

The kid-friendly third bedroom features two twin-over-full bunk beds (sleeps up to six), while the fourth bedroom provides a king bed. Both the third and fourth bedrooms have flat screen TVs and direct access to the upper-level deck. The third bathroom features a tub/shower combination.

A convenient half bath is located off the living room.

OUTDOOR AREAS

You’ll want to spend every moment enjoying the beach breeze and warm sunshine, and this home provides the perfect spaces in which to do so. The lower-level deck features a porch swing and patio glider. Eat breakfast outside at the table with seating for four, or soak in the sun from two loungers.

The covered upper-level deck is accessible from any of the three upstairs bedrooms.

In the carport, an oversized picnic table offers a shaded spot for family dinners. This area also houses an outdoor shower.

EXTRA AMENITIES

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for four vehicles in the driveway.

THE LOCATION

This home is located in the town of Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Peninsula, a short ferry ride from Galveston. Walk two blocks to the beach, where swimming, fishing, and shelling are just a few of the many fun activities you can indulge in.

The Houston Audubon Society is one of the largest landowners on the peninsula, and birders will delight at the wide variety of species that call the area home. Visit the Bolivar Flats Sanctuary, just a 14-minute drive away, or the Smith Oaks Sanctuary, 25 minutes away in High Island.

Drive to the Bolivar Point Lighthouse in 17 minutes, or try out one of the waterfront dining establishments in Crystal Beach.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
