"We enjoyed our stay very much at Alena’s cottage! It is immaculately clean, just unbelievable! The outdoor sauna was well used. The house is very well stocked, the kitchen has everything you may need! It is only a couple of minutes drive to Lafontaine beach, right around the corner. "Me and my family had a great stay at this cottage. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had a great outdoor area for all 8 of us to enjoy + our dogs. Tons of space. Sandy and George we're so accommodating - always reaching out if we needed anything. They even took us for a boat ride on the lake one afternoon which was so nice of them. It is a beautiful lake and a great quiet spot on the lake too. You can't really walk into the water or swim off the dock as there is tons of seaweed and weeds....

"We were a group of 14 extended family members who stayed here for 2 nights 3 days. Property was excellent, clean, and well stocked with everything you might need. We did have to use 2x of the provided air mattresses and pull-out sofa's to make enough beds for all of us - everyone was however very comfortable. The views from inside or on the deck are amazing, couldn't get enough of it! The rocky beach does make it a bit challenging to get in and out of the water especially for younger kids...

"We had the best time at Chris’ property. The house was tidy, had all the supplies you could need and lots of seating for our group of 8. Chris was quick to respond to any questions and all instructions for the property were clear. The “party cave” was a great place to hang out in at night and the two hot tubs were well maintained and clean. Beautiful view of the water off the back deck. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back."

"Had a wonderful time here and Pat was a fantastic host. The area is beautiful and the walks along the trails were perfect for us and our dog. The kitchen was excellent! Had everything we needed to prep the food we brought with us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfortable. "Place was very cozy and was super comfy. The group that went had an amazing time and loved everything about the house. We often found our way to the garage to play ping pong games which was something that brought everyone together. I would for sure go back and stay!"

The kids loved the layout and amenities of the unit - air hockey and pool table, several tv's for video games, etc.) The area has a great selection of activities (skiing, fishing, etc.) nearby as well as several restaurants and shopping options.
