A short walk or drive to restaurants and shops. Our host, Dan was very welcoming and has a vast knowledge of local history and culture as well as an entrepreneur. We enjoyed the location but it is a bit far from Old Port area where most of the activity was. Note: parking in the Old Port area is VERY expensive (20-26 for 2 hours (minimum time)) so it is likely better to walk (15 minutes) or uber to that area. ##### Robert S. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes to walk into Old Port, and there’s also a trail right next to the property that we used often.Dan was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. There were 4 small very basic chairs to sit on. I used for my suitcases. I personally felt it was very outdated and bedding and rug was not clean. I prefer crisp white sheets. Room is up a narrow stairway with a simple deadbolt lock and free access to anyone. I would not stay here again, we stayed our 2 nights, would prefer hotel.
