Amasea Resort

Amasea Resort

8/10 Good
"Enjoyed our stay very much. Very well located hotel in an attractive setting on the coast and beach. Well appointed clean rooms. Beautifully maintained grounds. Lovely pool area and restaurant with views across the bay. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good base for exploration. Some points however to be aware of. Rooms and especially bathrooms are really small. We had an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. You could hear the conversations and snoring of the neighbours! Not sure if this is a problem in other rooms. Beach is quite dirty with seaweed and other vegetation. The hotel does its best to manage people wanting late check-outs which are rarely possible. They offer a cloakroom with single shower to use before leaving. It’s small and hot. However, they have no luggage storage room and so have piles of bags dotted around the reception, people opening them, going up and down to shower. It does not give a professional impression to people arriving. They should find a solution for a baggage store and keep all this out of sight. Also if not 100% occupancy, they should block a least desirable room as a courtesy room for showering."

What is the nightly rate for a guest house in Posada?
Rates for Posada guest houses vary, but travelers can find great-value prices from $59 with Expedia. A range of factors can affect nightly rates, such as the location, the breakfast offering, and the range of amenities. Travelers looking for a good deal should consider looking for a midweek stay, as weekend rates at Posada guest houses tend to be higher. Remember to also use our filters to sort prices from low to high.
What's the difference between a Posada guest house and a B&B?
A guest house in Posada is typically a larger establishment with more rooms, offering a more hotel-like experience, and may provide additional amenities including luxury bedding. In contrast, a B&B is usually a smaller property that focuses primarily on providing a room and breakfast. A B&B is often more personal, and breakfast is typically included as part of the stay, but other services might be more limited compared to a guest house.
