“First of all the reception staff and in particular the gentleman who booked us in were excellent. Nothing was too much of a problem for them. Friendly, helpful and extremely courteous. The hotel is beautiful and overlooks the nicest square in Esteponna. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice and served in or outside the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and cannot wait to return.”

“A refined hotel amongst many in the region which are less so. The feeling is quite exclusive, but of course, you pay for that. The food is very good, although “Lobster served with chips and a crispy fried egg, which sounds irresistible, is disappointing at euros 110 for two people,1 small lobster, between 2 does not go far. We will definitely return though for the sweetbreads cooked on the Josper! A very friendly and relaxing experience all told.”

“The property is in a quiet location, welcoming staff at the beginning. Alejandro was great as he arranged our reservations and suggested places to go to. Ropm service qas horrible, wr lacked tissue (napkins), water refill, mini bar refill, and coffee cups for the first 3 nights. It went horrible from the day after. Bar staff were moody at times, and sometimes they were good. Horrible housekeeping, and reception on receiving calls from my room. Major adjustment needed to reach hospitality……

“Having returned from The FLAG in mid-June, following a 4 day stay, I can wholeheartedly state that it is an excellent hotel and the staff are very pleasant and professional. To improve, I would suggest that the coffee pods in the rooms are refreshed without incurring a charge, since 2 pods is insufficient for coffee lovers. Secondly and perhaps most importantly, I booked and twice confirmed a transfer, to and from the Flag to Malaga Airport. Unfortunately, having twice stated that I, my wife……
