This beautifully decorated 2 bed/1 bath home is a treasure. Our kitchen is fully stocked and ready for gourmet cooking. The cottage sleeps 4 people. Each bedroom has high speed Wi-Fi and a desk. The living room is perfect for reading books or watching movies on our Smart TV. The renovated bathroom has stunning tile floors and a tile shower/tub.

Enjoy our large deck. See if you can spot our family of 6 deer who call our woods home.

Location. Location. Location. Just down from UNC, our cute cottage is on a quiet street- perfect for taking walks. Need to work out? We have worked it out with the YMCA that our guests can use their facilities for free for up to 7 days. Enjoy their pools, gyms, tennis courts, racquetball courts, etc.


Note: For Security Deposits, VRBO collects these funds and returns them to you if the property is not damaged. As the host we do not receive these funds.

Quiet Cottage in wooded area

Enjoyed this small cottage for a week’s stay. Felt like a deer could be walking in the woods surrounding the property. Appreciated the washer and dryer as we are on a long trip.

Super clean and cozy!

This lovely remodeled cottage fit our needs perfectly. #1 requirement for us is cleanliness and we weren’t disappointed! Nothing was overlooked. It’s a very tiny place but roomy enough for us. You can’t beat Brad for quick response for anything.. He’s pleasant, approachable, and efficient. We hope to return soon!

Property is cute & nicely put together. However strong musty mildew odor throughout, very dusty from underneath the beds, bed headboards, baseboards & window sills and exterior of refrigerator. Lacks basic supplies (paper towels, kitchen garbage bags, hand/dish towels). Had to use bathroom towel to clean up a kitchen spill. Provided check in info day of check-in only after I had to request it. Provided info on free use of local YMCA a day after we checked in, this information would be more helpful if provided prior to our arrival for packing & planning purposes. All these little things just added up to a meh stay.

Promises promises

Arrived late evening due to flight weather delays. No lights on. Dark. To enter, you must use stepping stones to side yard gate and through side yard stepping stones to unlock key lock. The small 2 bed 1 bath cottage was fine for our 3 night stay. Beds and pillows comfy. Kitchen has basic essentials. Near the last day we figured out how to shut the repurposed bathroom door (lift up on the right side and push left on the top. Awkward to use the toilet steps away from kitchen and small living room w a door that we couldn’t close for a couple days. Bath towels were damp upon arrival. We dried using the dryer. There was no Wi-Fi and therefore no TV during our entire stay. We notified the owner. They indicated they’d made an attempt to have router replaced. They informed us 13 days ago they’d refund us $100. Still have yet to receive it. That speaks volumes to us.

Quaint Cottage near UNC Campus

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. It was my husband and I and it was a nice place to come relax after the fun on Franklin and campus activities. It is close enough to walk in order to get a little exercise (about 30 minutes) and we also had a car for the later nights. It was clean and comfortable and very private. We didn't cook more than toast and coffee but it appeared to have all that you would need and the bedding was clean and plus. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable

The little cottage was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Its location was close enough to Franklin Street for a quick zip up in the car. The distance is also walkable if you’d rather leave the car, although there is an incline for most of the walk to Franklin Street. We are completely satisfied with our booking.

Cute Convenient Cottage

Super cute cottage conveniently located in Chapel Hill. It even had a welcome committee of a mother deer with two babies greet us when we arrived. :D Property owner is very helpful and responsive, and it was perfect for our needs.
