“The property was as described and exactly what we needed. Downtown was a block away. Several restaurants and shops. We are originally from the area and selected this location because it was near downtown and central to places in Augusta and Gardiner that we wanted to visit. The house is a wonderfully updated old home.”

“What a perfect spot on our way to Bar Harbor from the Portland airport. Super clean and well maintained large studio. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful courtyard to enjoy a meal or beverage. Wiscasset is a charming waterfront town with some great restaurants. Highly recommend this very affordable unit !”

“Well appointed clean, comfortable apartment for myself and 3 colleagues. The only thing I would say is that there is one enormous bedroom and then a mid size room that is connected by a sliding barn door from a very small room without a window. This small room has the trundle bed. Might be perfect for a family- it was a little tough for 4 adults. Other than that is was great and Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts!”

“We were excited about hearing that the Johnaon Hall Opera House was reopening in Gardiner and when we saw Lyle Lovett was going to perform there...the only thing left to do was find a place to stay. We loved this place!! So convenient to walk around Hallowell and enjoy antique, floral, gift shops as well as a plethera of places to grab a craft cocktail, local brew or bite to eat. Getting home from the concert and finding cheese crackers was a nice bonus. The only stressor was to choose which...

“Our second year here and we enjoyed our stay at the Cottrell House apartment. One concern I had was the large mirror across from the kitchen which was leaning against the wall and not attached. Thinking it might accidentally tip over. Will definitely stay again next year. Lived in Damariscotta for 30 years. Love it here! Thank you Lisette.”
