Wonderful farm stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at Loa's Nest. The parking is right outside the door. The owners were extremely friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We even saw the northern lights right from the doorstep. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here with my family. The property owners have very thoughtfully stocked the kitchen area with all kitchen gadgets so travelers can fix their own meals. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay here. The only nit is we couldn’t figure out the temperature control in the room (neither could a few other guests in adjoining rooms). It wasn’t uncomfortably cold, but would recommend leaving a set of instructions in the room for other guests. I’ll plan to stay here again in my future travels through this area.

Fantastic spot!
Wonderful place in a very quite location, only 5 km from the main road. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ingi and Unnur were great hosts. We really appreciate their attention to detail and kindness. The cherry on top: Waffles for breakfast ❤️

Loved the relaxed feel and getting to enjoy Unnur's waffles on the front porch, wrapped in a blanket he supplied. View of the fields was peaceful through our room's windows. Great local info in the common area. Best shower of all the places we stayed! Super comfy bed. Friendly and hospitable and easy to get to off Ring Road. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay for many reasons: communication with the hosts was easy and effective; the reservation conditions were flexible and not binding -- a big plus for a traveler; the location was interesting for us: in the middle of countryside, farmland, and nature with a great view; everything was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared for guests; rooms have good sound proofing: we stayed close to the main "living room" and heard nothing either from the hallway or the neighboring room; the hosts are friendly and helpful -- gave us advice on local businesses, in my case on yarn shops. What's not to like? If you come to stay -- check out the waterfall down the road -- it is gorgeous at sunset.
