"Ample and easy parking, great location, hotel is very well established with excellent staff. Every member of staff I met each time be it at the reception or in the corridors has been extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable albeit some timely refurbishment is visibly required in some places. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay each time."

"This place feels like an odd mix — some aspects feel like a hip boutique hotel while others seem a bit “budget.” There is no actual lobby or dedicated hotel staff in the evening, so you collect your key from the large bar on the ground floor. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed (eg, nice bathroom fixtures, Nespresso machine in room), though quite dark. Good location in historic city centre. Nice touches like a refrigerator on the corridor that has bottles of cold filtered water."

"Room looked lovely but had a terrible smell. Food in restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast, although there was some issue with a very long wait to be served, being given out of date menus that were not longer valid. We also organised an event there. It cost 1100 GBP for afternoon tea for 20 people. The quality of food was terrible. It cost 25 GBP a person for a few little cakes and sandwiches which were tasteless and dry - like they had been cooked 2 days before being served. I deserve at least a partial refund."
